Your financial plan stays in your browser.
Your current plan, saved scenarios, and preferences use this browser’s local storage. Normal planning does not upload your financial inputs to a plan database. There is no account or bank connection. Clearing browser data, private browsing, or browser storage management can remove saved information. Download a backup to keep a copy outside this browser.
Sharing and downloaded files
A full-plan link contains an encoded copy of your financial plan. Encoding is not encryption. Anyone with the link can read it and forward it; there is no control that revokes a copy already shared. Selected-result links contain only the results you choose. Social sharing sends the selected link to the service you open. Downloaded plan files also contain financial information and are not encrypted by the planner.
Feedback you choose to send
Selecting “Send feedback” sends your report through Cloudflare to a private support inbox hosted by Google. It includes your report text, the screen name, app version, and an optional reply email. Your balances, full plan, and private share link are not automatically attached. Information you type yourself is included, so leave out account numbers and unnecessary financial details.
What happens to feedback
Submitted feedback is delivered to and retained in the support email inbox. It is used to respond to questions and investigate problems or suggestions. Cloudflare and Google process the message as part of delivering and storing it. To ask about a report or request its deletion, contact feedback@escapevelocity.fyi. There is no automatic deletion schedule.
Website requests and protection
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Requests expose technical information, such as an IP address and browser request information, to the services handling them. The feedback endpoint uses Cloudflare’s rate limiter with a rotating hashed IP key to limit repeated submissions. The IP address is not included in the emailed report. Local calculation does not make browsing anonymous.
Usage measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate website usage and page-performance measurements. It is separate from your financial plan. There are no advertising trackers or bank connections in the planner.
Your choices
You can download a backup and remove the planner’s local data using your browser’s site-data controls. A plan that exists only in your browser cannot be recovered through the feedback inbox. You can use the planner without submitting feedback, sharing a link, or providing an email address.
